WooCommerce website design & development
A distinctive storefront, with product editing you can handle yourself.
I’m Ronny Sarianides, a designer and developer based in Athens, working with businesses in Greece and internationally. I build WordPress and WooCommerce stores around your products, your customers and the changes you need to make day to day. You work directly with me from the first brief through design, development and handover.
PYTHIA: a custom design built on WooCommerce
For this olive-oil store, I created a custom WordPress theme around the product imagery, bottle sizes and information a customer needs before ordering. The catalogue brings the three sizes together; the product page gives the bottle image and buying details more room.

A design you can update
The short note on each product card has its own editing field. In a recorded local test, I changed that note, saved it and confirmed the change on the homepage without changing the product price. It is a custom field in this project, rather than a feature every WooCommerce theme includes.
For your store, we agree exactly which product details, page text and images you need to edit. At handover, we check those changes from your editing account through to the storefront.
See how product presentation and navigation change with the catalogue in my ecommerce website design examples, comparing PYTHIA with CB AutoTech.
A catalogue organised around how people shop
CB AutoTech shows a different catalogue problem: visitors need routes through product categories and vehicle makes and models. Its model browser illustrates why product information and navigation need to be planned together.
For your store, we identify the categories, product details and selection steps customers need. Special filters, product relationships and compatibility rules are scoped separately.
New WooCommerce stores from €3,000
The starting price, plus VAT where applicable, covers a new store in one language with a straightforward product catalogue. We confirm your selling market, payment provider and shipping requirements before I give you the final quote.
- Design and page structure
- One design direction, a page map, and homepage and product-page design previews for approval. Typography, colours and image presentation are shaped around your business.
- Store pages
- Homepage, catalogue and category views, a product-page template, basket, checkout, contact and up to two information pages, adapted for desktop and mobile.
- Initial product setup
- Up to 30 simple products and five categories. A simple product has one purchase option, without variations such as sizes or colours. This limits my initial setup work, rather than your future catalogue capacity.
- Your content, prepared for the store
- Entry and light editing of your supplied final text, up to 4,000 words, plus web preparation of up to 100 supplied images. Photography, substantial rewriting and complex retouching are separate.
- Editing access
- Product names, descriptions, images, prices and stock, plus agreed text, images and contact details on existing pages. New layouts and features are separate work.
- Payment and shipping setup
- One compatible payment provider and straightforward shipping rules for one agreed selling market, subject to compatibility and account access. Multi-country rules and additional integrations are assessed separately.
- Search foundations
- Core page titles and descriptions, clean URLs, a sitemap and indexability checks. Ongoing SEO and individual product keyword research or copywriting are separate.
- Review and handover
- Two consolidated revision rounds, written guidance and up to 60 minutes of training for everyday editing. The agreed page design and functions are the basis for revisions.
- Launch checks
- Desktop and mobile checks, adding products to the basket, a test order, payment-provider test mode where available, shipping calculations and core order emails, using the agreed settings.
What is quoted separately
Product variations, a larger initial catalogue, another language, an existing-store migration, wholesale pricing, subscriptions, ERP or marketplace connections and bespoke functions need their own estimate. Custom fields and navigation features shown in the project examples are not automatically included in the starting scope.
Domain, hosting, paid extensions, subscriptions and transaction fees are listed separately. You supply or approve the product information, imagery, prices, legal copy and tax and shipping settings. The proposal sets out ownership, access, third-party licences, the schedule and payment stages before work starts.
The build includes 30 days after publication to report and correct faults in the agreed work. Ongoing maintenance, new content entry by me and additional features are separate services.
For a first-year view of the build fee, recurring expenses and costs still to confirm, use my ecommerce website cost guide and budget worksheet.
From the brief to a store you can manage
- 1. Define the store
- We agree the products, pages, selling countries, currency, languages and operational requirements. Existing-store data and integrations are checked before they become part of the proposal.
- 2. Review the design
- You review the structure and agreed design previews before the full build. We also define the editing tasks, so content management is part of the design decision.
- 3. Build, test and hand over
- I develop the agreed store and check the shopping and editing tasks. We review it together, complete the agreed launch checks and hand over access and guidance.
I’m based in Athens and work remotely with international clients in English. We agree review stages, responsibilities and communication times at the start. The build schedule follows the scope and the availability of content, approvals and account access.
Before we start
Can I add products and change prices myself?
Yes, within the agreed catalogue structure. The starting scope includes access and training for product descriptions, images, prices and stock, and adding simple products. We identify any special fields and page sections you need to edit, then check them at handover.
Can you work on an existing WooCommerce store?
I can assess the current store and the changes you need before proposing a scope. The €3,000 starting offer is for a new build. Existing themes, extensions, data, redirects and custom code may require a different plan. My redesign versus refresh guide explains how to decide what to retain.
Will WooCommerce cover every feature I need?
We check the actual requirements before choosing an implementation. Subscriptions, customer-specific prices, external stock systems and complex shipping need their own assessment. A plugin listing alone does not establish that it fits your process. A browser tool for a separate business workflow may be better scoped through custom web app development.
Is SEO included?
The build includes the search foundations described above. Ongoing keyword research, content development and search-performance work are covered by my SEO services. Building or launching a store does not guarantee traffic, rankings or sales.
Tell me what your store needs to do
Send your current site if you have one, what you sell, the number of products and variations, your selling countries and the payment and shipping requirements. Include your target launch date and the updates you want to make yourself. I’ll use that to discuss a suitable scope and quote.
